We're creating a beautiful birth affirmations track, using your voices.

It will be a gift for Veladya and all of us; a piece of art to ripple out into the world and soothe countless mamas & babies!  

Here's what to do:

1) Go into a closet (for best sound!)

2) Open the "voice note" app on your phone and record yourself saying one or more of these suggested affirmations, or one of your own. (Let your voice be as soft, inspiring & melodic as possible!)

3) Email the file to [email protected]

I am soft and powerful.

My body knows how to give birth.

My breath is my anchor.

With each wave, I sail closer to shore.

I breathe in strength, I breathe out fear.

My body was made to do this.

I am safe, my baby is safe.

My ancestors are here with me, holding space for me and baby.

I am grateful to be feeling this.

Waves of oxytocin are coursing through my body.

I trust this divine process.

My cervix softens and opens, life a blossoming flower.

These waves can’t be bigger than me because they ARE me.

I embrace the wisdom and innate knowledge of my body.

The only way out is through.

Surrender. An angel is coming through. I am opening to heaven.

I’m a badass mama, I’m a tigress, I’ve got this.

Relaxed jaw, relaxed pelvis.

Ride the waves. Don’t fight them.

I have everything I need inside of me to do this work. Go inside.

I am safe, my baby is safe.

I got this.

Opening. Opening. I am Open, I am ready, I am Open.

Inhale peace, exhale tension. Surrender. Release.

Down, come down baby. I’m ready to meet you.

With each wave, I am closer to meeting my baby.

This isn’t pain, it’s power.

Breathe deep and out.

I can do it, I’m doing it.

My pussy is expansive and supple.

Everything that is happening is perfect.

Every wave stretch, stretch, stretches me for my perfect baby.

I am not alone.

I am connected to all the women on Earth who birthed before me and all the women who are birthing right now.

The baby will come at the perfect moment.

My body was made to do this.

The only way out is through.

My body opens like a blooming flower, I breathe the baby down.

My body expands, I can hold this sensation.

I can do hard things.

Surrender and release.

My baby will slip out like a bar of soap.

I trust my body to safely bring my baby into my arms.

I work with my body, not against it.

I’m about to see my baby’s beautiful face.

I am capable.

One, two, three, four, I see a door opening wide.

Back to the breath, smooth, full, stay soft.

I am powerful, strong, expansive.

With each wave, I expand and open, like a flower.

I am safe. My baby is safe.
