Hi, I’m Katya Nova!

I'm the founder of MATRIARCH.LOVE, a virtual conference & community for women who love photography, inspiring conversations, and no-BS business talk. Whether you're a new mom taking pictures with a phone, or a seasoned photographer, this virtual summit will blow your mind and heart open.

For nearly a decade, I’ve lived on a beautiful Caribbean island with my handsome husband (and now, 3 children under 5!)

I thought I loved weddings, but one day they stopped bringing me joy.

I longed to ‘come out of the closet’ with the work I’d been passionate about all along: intimate portraits of couples and the mother-child bond.

Would the world think it’s too much SKIN?

A ‘matriarch’ is defined as a woman who is the head of a family or tribe.

I love this word so much, it makes me sit up a little taller, lift my head up, and stop playing small. You know what I mean?

This online conference & community are my way of bringing together all the things I love … ‘fireside chats’ with some of THE most extraordinary women artists; community over competition mindset, and nerding out over business strategy allllllllll day long.
